Yesterday, Apple introduced the world’s thinnest notebook: MacBook Air. It measures 0.16 inches at its thinnest point while its maximum height of 0.76 inches is less than the thinnest point on competing notebooks. The repertoire of fantastic features includes a 1.6 GHz or 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 4MB L2 cache, 2GB of memory, an 80GB 1.8-inch hard drive [or you may select a 64GB solid state drive, meaning instant boot-up], and the latest 802.11n Wi-Fi technology and Bluetooth 2.1. Starting at just $1,799, MacBook Air begins shipping in two weeks.
Apple also introduced the Time Capsule, which is a wireless hard drive available in 500GB or 1TB capacities. It is also a full-featured 802.11n Wi-Fi base station.
There are other product introductions as well. Go to http://www.apple.com/hotnews/ for a summary of these and other introductions.
There are some polls after the blog entries; please complete after reading blog.
