I worked from about 7AM until 11PM. It was a long and arduous. It got a little hectic at the end, with nurses calling for missing medications (an all-too-common occurrence at my hospital) and various questions. Not entirely an insane evening, but since I don't work the front (i.e. answering phones and delivery medications to the various patient care units) too often these days, it was a little bit more challenging than what I'm currently used to. Adding to the fun was the fact that I worked with two agency pharmacists--one of whom has been there for quite a while, but she has a heavy accent from the islands (possibly Jamaican) so I have to make her repeat stuff a lot because I often don't understand what she says the first time around.
On a positive note, I got my paycheck. Normally, they get there on Thursdays. I found out they came Tuesday (I never got mine on Tuesday because I left early, see above).
After work, Alex and I went to Walgreens so that he could browse around for something to make him feel better. He is still sick with his cold.
